Face: On the right a portrait of an outstanding Jewish personality. The inscriptions are all in Hebrew. On the top center "bank of Israel" and in the center the denomination the signatures are David Horowitz – governor of the bank and Y. Chorin – chairman of the advisory committee.


Back: On the left a building or symbol significant to the personality on the face of the note "Bank of Israel" in Hebrew above and in English on the bottom. The Arabic version: on the five and ten Lirot – on the bottom and on the fifty and 100 Lirot – on the right side vertically. The serial numbers are on the upper right and lower left on the ten fifty and one hundred Lirot and on the upper left and lower right on the five Lirot.
